Paula Folino graduated as Civil Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1987. In 2012 she obtained her PhD degree from the same University.

Since 1984 to 1998, she worked for different companies and specialized in structural engineering. In 1998 she began to work from her own office for different architectural and engineering firms and began to identify herself as PACEFO - Structural Engineering, offering the services detailed in this website.

She also works at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires since 1984 where now she is Associated Professor in the Department of Constructions and Structures. She also belongs to the LMNI (Laboratory of Numerical Methods in Engineering) at the Laboratory of Materials and Structures, where she works in several research projects mainly related with concrete constitutive modeling and with non conventional experimental tests.

She is member of AIE (Association of Structural Engineers of Argentina), ACI (American Concrete Institute) and of AMCA (Argentinean Association of Computational Mechanics).
